Dynamite in small packages! That’s what you get when
Jordan Leigh hits the stage bringing you total entertainment
that gets your toes tapping and brings you to your feet when
she fires out a song on her 5 string banjo.

Now 15 years old, Jordan has been singing and entertaining
thousands of music lovers over the years while being backed-up
by great bands since she was only seven.  From the start, her
beautiful voice and down-home country charm quickly led her to
stages throughout her home state of Kentucky including Renfro
Valley, the Lincoln Jamboree, the Kentucky Horse Park -
Kentucky State Fair, Calvin Ray’s Live, the J.D. Crowe Festival
and many others.

Jordan also landed numerous exceptional opportunities such
as performing at the introduction of the Kentucky Commemorative
Quarter, the Kentucky State Fair Ham Breakfast, the National
Anthem at Rupp Arena and singing for the Kentucky House of
Representatives and Senate.  These special events have made her
a seasoned performer with a comfort of stage presence rarely
found in a girl her age. While performing from 75 to 100 shows
per year, Jordan has savored each one.

During her membership in the Kentucky Country Music Association she was awarded the 2005 & 2006 Female
Vocalist and Entertainer of the Year for traditional country music plus the 2006 Duo of the Year. Jordan took immense
pride in receiving the 2005 & 2006 Bob Owen’s award for community service.  She reflects, “I always try to give to others,
because I know how much I have been blessed and how much other people have done for me.”  Jordan’s love of music
kept growing and landed her a performance spot at the 2006 Kentucky Music Hall of Fame Inductions ceremony where
she shared the stage with many well-known performers such as the Judds, John Connelly, Lilly Tomlin, Dottie Rambo,
Bobby Osborne, Dean Osborne, J.D. Crowe, Sam Bush, and others.

Living a well rounded life on the farm has taught Jordan responsibility with her animals as well as how to appreciate
what she has and why she has it.  She currently lives on the family farm near Harrodsburg, KY where she and her sister,
Braden, raise and show market goats and are active in their 4-H club.   In the summers of 2006 and 2007 Jordan and
Braden brought home several winning places including some Grand Champions.  Her numerous abilities to be versatile
shine through whether it’s being with a youth group at the country church, showing goats, working in the vegetable garden
and preserving the harvest or learning and working the areas of home construction.  Jordan is also the reigning 2007
Miss Mercer County Teen.
Being a farm girl has helped Jordan to keep all aspects of her life in perspective.  “I want to know how to do a lot of things.
I want to be able to change my own oil in my car just before I leave to perform a music show.”

Jordan’s goals have been her driving force.  “Sometimes just loving what I do isn’t enough.”  She set lofty goals
early on, such as singing at Rupp Arena.  Each time she accomplished a goal, she set bigger ones.  Her ultimate goal
of meeting her idol, Dolly Parton, came true in January of 2007. CBS’s “The Early Show,” along with Dolly,  learned of
Jordan’s story and turned her dream into a reality.  Not only did Jordan meet Dolly, she got to spend some off camera time
with the country music queen.  On her second trip to New York City, compliments of CBS, Jordan received the surprising
news by way of a video showing Dolly announcing she was making arrangements for Jordan to perform on the
Grand Ole Opry.  Jordan’s very special Opry performance is scheduled for September 18, 2007, at 5:30 p.m.  To top it
off, Dolly sent some original songs she wrote and Jordan included them on her promotional CD.  “This has truly been a
dream come true,” exclaimed Jordan.  “I’m really thinking about where I want to set my next goals.  I know that dreams
are obtainable if you really want them.”

Jordan’s eyes are fixed squarely on her musical horizon.  She knows where she wants to go and has the talent and
experience to do it.  Not sure exactly where in the entertainment business her future will land, for now she looks forward
to her Grand Ole Opry performance and the fact it will bring the eyes and ears of the movers and shakers of Nashville’s
Music Row upon her.  Though this is Jordan’s first time on the Grand Ole Opry stage, her new goal is to make it only the
beginning.
